A new journey began

TraceVerified TraceVerified joined the Vietnam–Japan Incubation Program, bringing Vietnamese technology startups into Japan’s innovation ecosystem.

For us, this was more than a business trip.

It was a chance to listen, learn and understand how a Vietnamese technology company can build connections in one of the world’s most demanding markets.

Seeing Japan’s innovation ecosystem

Our journey began with visits to innovation hubs and startup organisations in Tokyo.

Different places. Different communities. One common spirit:

Connect ideas. Connect people. Create opportunities.

These visits gave the TraceVerified team a closer look at how innovation is supported, connected and commercialised in Japan.

From listening to presenting

Then came Demo Day. The moment to move from listening to sharing. TraceVerified presented its solutions and the ideas behind our next chapter: Traceability is only the beginning.

Our experience in Vietnam has taught us that traceability is not simply about putting a QR code on a product. It is about connecting the information behind that product.

And turning fragmented information into a trusted supply chain story.

Building together

Between meetings and presentations, there was also time for teamwork.

• Ideas were discussed.
• Messages were refined.
• Questions were challenged.
• New possibilities emerged.

Because entering a new market is not simply about taking an existing product somewhere else. It is about learning how to adapt.

Meeting the market

At the TraceVerified booth, conversations became more direct. Customers and partners stopped by. We demonstrated our solutions. We listened to questions. We exchanged perspectives.

And every conversation brought us one step closer to understanding what Japanese businesses expect from technology partners.

Beyond a technology

Japan reminded us of something important: Technology is only one part of the journey.

To work across borders, we need to understand: People; Business culture; Customer expectations.
Cost structures; Local needs.

A solution that works in Vietnam may need to be adapted before it creates value in Japan. That is not a barrier.

It is part of internationalisation
