On the occasion of World Environment Day and World Food Safety Day, TraceVerified representatives joined the Vietnamese delegation at the regional kick-off workshop of the Mekong CREATES project – an initiative coordinated by the Mekong Institute (MI) with funding from the Government of New Zealand.
Mekong CREATES – Regional Collaboration for Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains
Mekong CREATES (Mekong Capacity-Building for Resilient and Enhanced Agricultural Technologies and Food Systems) is a regional project focused on capacity building, knowledge sharing, and policy transformation to foster safe, climate-resilient agricultural value chains in four countries: Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Vietnam (CLMV).
The project aims to promote more sustainable, climate-smart, and safe food systems to tackle growing challenges such as climate change, excessive use of agricultural chemicals, disease outbreaks, and food safety risks.

TraceVerified: Advancing Transparency and Food Safety
Joining public agencies, research institutes, and private sector participants at the event, TraceVerified shared its expertise in implementing digital traceability solutions, carbon emissions data management, and technological applications for food safety digital transformation.
